A Backyard With The “WOW” Factor
This client asked that they be ‘wowed’ by the finished project. For the design, we created a series of ‘rooms’ that would give the homeowner the ability to host a small dinner party all the way up to a larger business event. The only requirement of this project was to keep the existing 20′ x 40′ pool.
Before: Old Pool Patio & Brick Wall
The existing landscape, deck, patio, and pool had not been updated since the 80’s. It was our job to transform this dated space into a destination backyard.
Great Oaks did an excellent job designing and implementing two big projects for us. We couldn’t be more pleased with the results.
After: New Patio & Outdoor Kitchen
We removed the brick retaining wall and designed a new patio and pool deck. We added a tanning area and sheer descent waterfalls to accent the pool. The outdoor kitchen is fully equipped with a large grill, two coolers, and a brick rotisserie. With ample seating, fire pits, and all-weather TVs, guests will be enjoying themselves long into the evening.
Dramatic Landscape Lighting At Night
The beautiful color of the Ipe decking contrasts with the other lighter colored “rooms.” The wrought iron fence, which matches the home’s style, defines the formal dining space. The 11’ long linear fireplace and fire bowls illuminating the far side of the pool create alluring nighttime lighting.
