We are looking to fill the following position(s):

Maintenance Crew Member
  • Pay range: $18-$21/hour

Position Summary

Crew members will conduct various landscaping tasks to ensure the upkeep and aesthetics of client properties. Responsibilities include mowing, trimming, weeding, planting, and general maintenance duties. You will work collaboratively with the team to complete daily tasks efficiently and maintain a high standard of workmanship. Attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and effective communication with supervisors and team members are essential for success in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Mowing: Use a variety of mowers to cut small and large lawns daily.
  2. Trimming: Use line trimmer to trim grass that cannot be reached by mowers and to maintain planting bed edges.
  3. Blowing: Use commercial and small blowers to remove grass clippings and debris from walkways, patios, and furniture.
  4. Weeding: Inspect and correct planting beds that have weeds and overgrown plants.
  5. Plant Grooming: Inspect and analyze the needs of a variety of garden plants to ensure they look healthy and tidy.
  6. Team Collaboration: Coordinate with other team members to prioritize maintenance tasks, and ensure timely completion of projects and repairs.
  7. Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
  8. Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about advancements in landscape technology and techniques, and recommend improvements to enhance system performance and efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience: Experience in landscape maintenance on residential properties preferred but not required.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using power equipment such as mowers, blowers, and trimmers.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with ornamental plants and weeds and soil-water-plant relationships.
  • Physical Fitness: Ability to lift up to 50lbs, work outdoors in various weather conditions, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
