The Start Of The Project
The homeowners of this project were looking to extend their ability to enjoy the pool earlier in the spring and later into the fall. We removed overgrown plantings adjacent to the pool, as well as an old nonfunctioning koi pond. The addition of the outdoor fireplace created a multi-use space for more time outside.
Outdoor Sitting Area
We added landscaping around the fireplace after removing some overgrown planters. The fireplace has a natural and clean look without the overgrown shrubs surrounding it.
Landscaping
We planted landscaping around the new patio and outdoor fireplace to make it feel like a private oasis. It is secluded and the perfect spot to spend a cool fall evening. The trees provide shade and the flora is inviting.
Stone Fireplace & Paver Patio
We incorporated snapped bluestone steps from the existing pool deck to access the new irregular full range bluestone patio. New plantings of colorful perennials, shrubs, and ground cover bridge the gap between preexisting mature plantings and the newly landscaped areas. The fireplace is made out of natural stone that will last for decades.
