Bluestone Patio & Brick Paver Path
This client wanted to update to their existing landscape, which had overgrowth and a decaying deck. The front walk and entryway were rundown, while the concrete walk leading to the backyard was cracked and sinking.
Before: Old Back Deck & Landscaping
Previously, the neighbors could see the homeowners when they were out on their deck. One of their priorities was bringing their outdoor living space to the ground level to increase their privacy. After discussing options with the client’s architect, we came up with a seamless transition from the back door to the new patio.
After: Maintenance-Free Deck & Stone Patio
We added a maintenance-free deck leading to the new patio. Additionally, we planted flowers to contrast the stone patio.
Bluestone Patio & Stone Fire Pit
We paid special attention to the scale and proportion of the new patio space as well as the size of the fire pit. The homeowner wanted a maintenance-free space with a timeless design. For the patio, we chose full range natural cleft bluestone with the reclaimed paver border.
Reclaimed Barr Brick Paver Walking Path
The Barr pavers originally wrapped around the base of the preexisting deck and the homeowner wanted to incorporate them into the new design. We were able to reuse the majority of the pavers in the border around the patio and as a new sidewalk. While the client purchased more Barr pavers to complete the project, it wasn’t hard matching the preexisting ones.
