A Complete Landscape Design Plan With Flagstone
This client’s existing landscape had been neglected over the years. We developed a comprehensive design for the entire yard which included a new flagstone paver patio in the backyard as well as a new walkway to get from the detached garage to the utility entryway.
Before: Side Entry Door Overgrowth
As you can see in the picture, an existing mound of dirt piled up against the natural stone entry stairs and turned into a sort of rock garden. Neglect had turned it into a hodgepodge of overgrowth.

After removing the rock pile, we created a new bed with a selection of plants. Across from the entry, we also installed an arborvitae hedge directly across from the front door. It now functions as a screen and evergreen backdrop, which highlights flowering shrubs and colorfully mixed perennials.
Flagstone Steppers & Landscape Lighting
A new flagstone path winds its way through the new plantings from the main door entry to the backyard. We added a transformer and new LED lighting to illuminate the walkway and lead people to the main entrance on the side.
